Do Koreans control the Black Hair Care Business?
I read the article, and that's the capitalistic nature of this country. It seems like small businesses don't have a chance anymore. From what I've seen, Koreans are very resourceful in business, and they are simply taking advantage of franchising. If it wasn't them it would be someone else. This sort of thing is the trend in many industries, and the government would LOVE to see everything become corporate and franchised.
In order to combat this, successful black entrepreneurs might step in to help keep this as a black industry. But the end result would be the same: strong black entrepreneurs will still buy out black small business owners. It's quite sad really.

Do Koreans control the Black Hair Care Business?
Not in Nyc they don't. In fact I was freinds and neighbors to a very expensive Black hair salon. If you ever go to Nyc it is on E. 60th Between Park and Lexington Ave. They are amazing and kind people. My cousin goes there to get her hair done.

No. Palmers, Bonner Brothers, Dr. Miracles, Carson Soft Sheen, Cream of Nature are not Koreans.
