my husband %26amp; i were talking tonight about black widow spiders... he said that he recalled something in the news a couple of years ago about a little african-american girl in south louisiana whose mother didn't take care of her and black widows somehow got into her skull and eventually killed her... i remember hearing something about a girl dropping dead and the coroner found roaches, spiders and lots of other things in her hair %26amp; her mom went to jail. but i don't recall one just concerning black widow spiders. does anyone know anything about this?

Sounds like an urban legend to me--check out their website. this one has been around for awhile, I remember it from the late 60's and early 70's, when the beehive hairdo was in style. It's a creepy one tho!

Sounds like an urban legend to me. No one would live from multiple bites before they (if they could) penetrate skull before the brain!!!!!
