Dreadlocks??

I ordered the dreadlocking kit on DreadHeadHQ. Has anyone elsse used it? Does it work? Does backcombing work on black hair?

I don't care about your personal opinions on dreadlocks. So keep the "they're nasty, they're dirty" comments to yourself.

YES! i got that same kit and used it 2 years ago... i have great dreads (and they are clean! clean! clean!... those of you who think you don't wash dreads misinformed). the only problem i had with the kit was that the comb that came with it didn't work that well. I actually went to the pet store and got a small comb with really tight prongs. but i have caucasian hair, so that comb may work on your hair... good luck! and be sure to plan enough time.... it takes hours to get them in!
