Gluing in hair extensions?

I'M GOING TO GET HAIR EXTENSIONS GLUED IN. I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT EVERYTHING I NEED. BUT NOW I'M STARTING TO HEAR ALL THESE HORROR STORIES ABOUT HOW DAMAGED MY HAIR WILL BE AFTER I TAKE THEM OUT. WHO HAS USED THE GLUE METHOD AND WAS YOUR HAIR DAMAGED AFTERWARDS AND IF SO HOW WAS IT DAMAGED, DID IT BREAK OFF, ENDS SPLIT, DRY OUT???

I'D REALLY LIKE TO HEAR FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS FIRST HAND. IN CASE IT MATTERS, I'M NOT BLACK. I HAVE A CAUCASIAN HAIR TYPE AND ITS PRETTY HEALTHY, A LITTLE DRY BUT I TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT.

Gluing in hair extensions?

I have had several applications of bonded hair extensions put in. I have never had any problems with it ruining my hair but that may be because I have always used a trusted stylist to do this for me. I use the Donna Bella Milan line. They sell a special remover that helps dissolve the glue and as a result it comes out easier. When you take out your extensions you will have some of your real hair fall out. This is only because you are losing hairs everyday and when you have extensions they have nowhere to go since they are glued to the extension. All in all, I have never had any problems. licensed

Gluing in hair extensions?

The glue would only take out your hair, if it is put in properly and taken out properly. Everything happens for a reason, only time the glue really damages someones hair is if they are allergic to it, and I've seen that happen to one person ever in my 21 yrs of life. You can use the glue in your hair, but make sure its done properly. When taken it out, use the bond remover or oil sheen or wash it out with Creme of Nature conditioning shampoo and your tracks will slip right out, there is no reason to be tearing the tracks out your head. Using glue in Tracks are the easiest thing ever

Gluing in hair extensions?

We do extensions at our salon, but don't use the glue system,. We use a keratin wax system to bond the new hair to the old. The end of the hair to be attached is dipped into hot keratin wax and then applied to the hair on the head. Since your hair is made of keratin anyway, this doesn't hurt the hair.

Proper care of your extensions is critical to the health of your natural hair as well. The person applying your extensions for you should be able to tell you how to care for them.

One thing I will say is this - When you are ready to have the extensions removed, you will think that you are losing a lot of natural hair as well. The human head loses approximately 60-80 hairs a day. If those hairs are attached to fake hair by glue or wax, they have no way to fall out. So when you finally take out the extensions, those hairs that you have been shedding come out as well.

Gluing in hair extensions?

it will be fine... here's the key. for the maitenance of your extensions..you may still wash your hair when you feel it is oily or uncomfortable and hard to style... just avoid your roots and tracks and be sure not to get any shampoo or conditioner on them....

once you feel it is time to take them out.... sit with leave in conditioner on the tracks and it will loosen and help to dissolve the glue... if you still can't get it out, apply even more conditioner and sit longer... conditioner is all you need.

Gluing in hair extensions?

with the glue in extensions, you can't comb your hair properly between the tracks. Also, when removing, the glue WILL pull out some of your hair. Try the clip in's (I think Jessica Simpson has a line). I made my own by using human hair and sewing the clips on for a fraction of the cost of the clip in. I can take it out daily and wash my hair like normal, yet have a nice long hair style at will.

Gluing in hair extensions?

As a cosmetologist and a person who wears extentions myself, I'll tell you that the only way you'll damage your hair is if you remove them incorrectly. Just pulling them out will cause breaking and splitting, so just have make sure you have a special glue remover. If not on hand saturate your hair all around the extention with baby oil.

How do you make your hair into dreadlocks?! (Read description first please!)?

Before I go further, i'm asking ONLY those who know how you can make them and take care of them, i'm not asking your opinion on them!

How do you make your hair into dreadlocks and take care of them, keep them clean? What shampoos do you use?

Does it matter what kind of hair you have to get them?

Is it true that black widows and lice will get in them?! O_o

How do you make your hair into dreadlocks?! (Read description first please!)?

First- no, bugs don't live in them because you still are washing and keeping clean. And you have the same chances of getting lice as you always do.

Dreadlocks are easiest if you have curly hair, or wavy even. They're a little tougher to get to stick with straight hair, but it can still be done.

If your hair is very curly or textured you can let them form naturally (just stop combing/brushing) This is called the neglect method and takes the longest, I don't recommend it.

The fastest most pain free method is the backcombing method. Cleanse with a residue free shampoo, this is also the kind of shampoo you need for maintenance, no conditioner. Let it dry on it's own so you can see your natural growth pattern. Once it's dry take 1"x1" sections and backcomb tightly stopping every inch or so to form the dread by twisting/rolling with a little dread wax. Here's some links for a more detailed description and some more methods.

http://www.howtodread.com/dreadlocks.htm...

To take care of them you wash your scalp well with a residue free shampoo. Don't use conditioner. Make sure you rinse extra well. For the first month or so while they're fresh only wash about every 5 days. Then once they're more established you can wash every other day. After washing squeeze the moisture out with a towel and blow them dry. Make sure you get them dry or you can get mildew which is stinky. Here's a link for more maintenence tips.

Hair Extensions please?? :)?

I can't really afford hair extensions but I was wondering if anyone knew where I can buy them for now more that $35.

Also I want them to be the kind that clip in. I don't care if it is fake hair I just want it cheap. Must be BLACK, STRAIGHT, and LONG.

Thanks :)

Hair Extensions please?? :)?

I don't know where you live but you could try sallies beauty supply. goodluck!

Hair Extensions please?? :)?

Go to Sally's Beauty Supply and look at their clip in hair extensions. I got some by Remy for about 70-80 dollars. They have every colour possible. Different lengths too. And they're 100% human hair, which means you can dye, straighten, wash, and curl them. Just don't get synthetic, they will melt if you do any of that.

Or you can get some extensions that aren't clip in for about 40-50 dollars, and you can sew on the clips.

Hair Extensions please?? :)?

jk im not sure they have those there

Death involving black widow spiders?

my husband %26amp; i were talking tonight about black widow spiders... he said that he recalled something in the news a couple of years ago about a little african-american girl in south louisiana whose mother didn't take care of her and black widows somehow got into her skull and eventually killed her... i remember hearing something about a girl dropping dead and the coroner found roaches, spiders and lots of other things in her hair %26amp; her mom went to jail. but i don't recall one just concerning black widow spiders. does anyone know anything about this?

Death involving black widow spiders?

Sounds like an urban legend to me--check out their website. this one has been around for awhile, I remember it from the late 60's and early 70's, when the beehive hairdo was in style. It's a creepy one tho!

Death involving black widow spiders?

Sounds like an urban legend to me. No one would live from multiple bites before they (if they could) penetrate skull before the brain!!!!!

Death involving black widow spiders?

oh yeeeah, blayck weeedows in da skull is preeety common, gotta watch aout for thayt.

Hair Regiment Advice / Hair style?

Hello

Issue #1:

Im trying to find a good hair products that i can stick with consistly, I havent found a product that i want to stick wit...Im black and japanese and my hair is kinda wierd when its straight its got the silkiness and thinness of an asian person and when its not straight its nappy and thick like a black person...I was wondering if maybe using products like treseme, loreal, garnier, aveda and etc. compared to black products....Im looking for a shampoo, a leave-in conditioner, and a mosturizer that will help with the danduff.

Issue #2:

I wanted to know more about the hot oil treatment, how good does it work on relax hair...im going to relax my hair.

Issue#3

I dont know if anyone has seen recently the new winner of america's next top model but i have had long hair all my life and want a short look now and i want to have it as the winner of america's next top model has....would that type of hair do go with a round face. And would it be easier to take care of

Hair Regiment Advice / Hair style?

1) asian people have thick hair (their hair strands are huge compared to the thin strands of black's hair), anywho, i would say you have the same hair my mother has. she uses mane %26amp; tail conditioning shampoo because it has alot of good ingredients. it leaves her hair soft, even when in it's natural state. also, black products are usually owned by white companies and are for blacks with relaxed hair. i have found that the best products to work with are natural products. you must find out which works best for you through trial and error.

2) hot oil treatments are intense moisturizing treatments, it works good on relaxed hair because relaxed hair is drier than natural hair. i would advise you not to relax your hair unless you are fully aware of how to take care of relaxed hair.

3) one of my friends had that cut %26amp; she has a round face. the cut frames the face so you can really see the roundness of it, whether you like that look or not is up to you

Hair Regiment Advice / Hair style?

#1.You have to find one that works good with YOUR hair! You just have to try many different ones.If ur hair is more nappy/kinky;shampoos only try your hair bad. What exactly is BLACK products? What? The ones that say anything about Africa on it? lol. You will learn those aren't really good for AA hair. Also if you must relax ur hair do so,but otherwise dont cuz ur hair in the long run will be too flat, limp, burn ur scalp and eventually brake off.Your choice. I condition my hair every week with honey and olive oil.So maybe try to find some conditioners with jojoba, olive oil, coconut, avocado in it.

#2.Hot oil treatment does work for AA hair idk know about yours

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

Lucky is a 7 year old male house dog. We got Lucky when he was only 3 weeks old. He has always been a house dog. We bathe Lucky approximately once a month, with dog shampoo. He has shiny jet black hair with a white streak on his neck/chest area. He is very loved and cared for. We exercise him by taking a 1 1/2 mile walk/run 2-3 times a week. We also take walks around our apartment complex every day. Lately he has been rubbing his behind on the carpet and I'm wondering what is causing this. When he does this I immediately go shampoo a towel and clean around his tail area. This will stop him from doing that for a while, but in a day or so or sometimes later that night he will do the same thing. Is he catching something, orshould I see his vet about this?

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

Take you r dog to the vet, there could be several things...

Worms,

Anal glands

or just plain itchy...

Best left to your Vet to diagnose.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

He might need to have his anal glands expressed. Take him to the vet and they can do it for you and show you how in case it needs doing again.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

anal glands need to be expressed by the vet.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

worms, worms, worms....

it can definitely be a sign of worms for wqhich he needs traetment asap with a worming pill and you and anyone elsae in the household needs to be super vigilant with hygine cos you can catch them i think...

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

well i have a dog that does it too and people say he might have worms. And ive seen a dog with worms and it does that too. Or it might just be using the rug as his own personal toilet paper.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

Sometimes dogs get irritated anal glands. It would be similar to hemorrhoids. Take him to the vet, and get advice on what to do. He may also have a mild case of worms. Your vet will know what all to do and check for when you call and say that your dog does the carpet rub.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

I think he would need his anal gland cleaned. If he's rubbing his behind or try to bite his behind, it is possible that his anal gland is full and needs to be squeezed. Sometimes dogs could clean their anal glands by scooting, but if they continue doing it, it would probably mean that we will have to do it for them. It will be a nasty job. Maybe you could ask your vet to teach you how to do it, or your groomer.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

He probably needs his anal glands expressed. A groomer or your vet can do it for under $10. He's scooting his butt because he's uncomfortable, trying to get the liquid out of his anal glands.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

He more than likely needs his anal glands expressed. You can have the vet do it, or, if your groomer does it, have him/her do it since the dog will more than likely need a bath after his anals are expressed....it has an odor.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

It sounds like he needs his anal glands expressed. The vet will do this, it just takes a few minutes. I have also heard that this can be symptoms of having a worm. Either way, you have to go to the vet.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

A lot of people think that the reason dogs do this is because they have worms, but that isn't necessarily true. Most dogs scoot their butt on the carpet when their Anal Glands get full. And even though he has never had a problem before, it can arise at any time. Anal Glands are two little scent glands that are located just inside the anus. Dogs normally express them when they go to the bathroom. But because dogs don't really need these scent glands anymore, they sometimes get full, and this can cause irritation, which can cause them to scoot on the carpet. It is best to take your dog into the vet and tell them he is scooting, and ask them to check his anal glands. Good luck, I hope this helps.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

He may need his anal glands cleaned. The vet can do that and it's pretty cheap

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

this is confusing!

dogs are funny when they do that

could he be itchy ?

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

He is either impacted or has picked up worms on his walks. Do the people in the complex pick up the poo. If not more of the dogs will wind up the same way. Get in touch with the manager if you find he picked them up.

Why do my dog (7 yr. old black lab) rub his behind on the carpet?

Oh he's just itching! I guess that's the only way they know how. Just just to be safe, get him de-wormed and make sure he is up to date on frontline or advatix (whatever you use, but those are the best). If it continues go see your vet and get his anal glands checked. Also when you give him a bath make sure you wash his butt!

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

I came out of an unofficial relationship and I'm basically ready to find someone else now...I'm black but I don't look full black and I'm quarter native american from both sides of my family and the guy I dated was pure bred native american. I don't get why I have such a hard time finding someone. I have a killer body and I'm outgoing and I'm beautiful (many guys have told me that) and I'm still a virgin. I have long flowy black hair. I'm loyal, caring, I don't get mad very easily. I'm laid back. I don't smoke or do drugs. I do tend to get a country accent (I'm from a countrier side of georgia) and swear a lot when I'm angry.Sadly though I don't find black guys attractive. I don't get why it's so hard to find someone in high school when I see so many couples around me. I miss having someone to cuddle at a movie with. Are guys intimidated by girls like me?

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

Yes, a attractive woman that's appears popular MUST ( or so we think) be interested in only a like , equal opposite. Beauty has its draw backs. Some guys believe that a woman that's beautiful and says she "knows" she is beautiful is also shallow and self-absorbed. Now that may not be true, but most guys who feel this way won't take a chance on getting ridiculed by trying. Its hard enough just getting to like your self some times than to be rejected by a heady self-assured girl; even if she has a great personality, we will never take the chance. SO.... you must make the first move and demonstrate you are interested. If he is a attractive, self-absorbed guy he will only want you for 1 thing. If he is attractive and doesn't flaunt it. bingo.. go for it!

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

you may assume too much. sorry, but you're insisting on it so much...maybe you really aren't that attractive to most guys.

or maybe you dont flirt enough.

try asking some guys out.

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

Because you are a virgin. Suck a few guys off, then men might want to date you.

.

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

You sound like a very nice, decent young lady. Don't change your ways, just be patient. A young man will fall in love with your smile, so wear it as often as possible.

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

Be yourself, stop worrying about what other think and whats going around you. My dad told me one day my problem was I was cute and I knew it! Sounds like you know too!

I'm the total package but I still find it hard to find a guy...why?

i have the same problem, im a college grad with a six figure salary but i have the hardest time finding some one but i truly believe that people are intimidated of what they dont know, they may deem you as un-approachable maybe you need to have a more outgoing personality so guys can feel comfortable approaching you, thats what im doing now

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

i say i am black because when people see my mom they are like oh she is black. i know that i came from a black woman for sure so i know i am black. i my not look like what people say is black but i don't care. i tell people if they were to start that whole black only and white only thing again to day, (there would not be a mixed section because black people are mixed to), they would take one look at my mom and say "get your *** to the black section."

my dad is Asian and he makes sure i follow my Asian culture as well. i don't really like people saying i am mixed because my mom is just too then, her grandmother father was Mexican and grandmother's mom was black and had Irish. now my moms grandfather was black, Irish, and native. that was on her mom side of the family. my moms dad side has too many to speak of. everyone on my mom side of the family is very light and has long hair. but my mom she is dark skin with shoulder length hair. so i am like how come she has to say black.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

Mixed.

Also, one of the reasons that so many Americans

(particularly those who are Mixed-Race via their

parent's generational-ancestry, rather than via

their parent'sbeing in an interracial-relationship)

-- refer to themselves by a mono-racial term

(such as black, white, etc.), is because in

the United States, up until 1967, the racist

'One-Drop Rule' could be enforced against them

having their full-lineage publicly acknowledged.

The racist 'One-Drop Rule' was created

during the antebellum, chattel-slavery era

by White racial supremacist in order to

get people to believe the false racist myth

that the so-called White "race" was "pure"

and to falsely view the Black "racial"

admixture (even the slightest amount) within

someone's ancestral lineage as being "tainted".

To embrace the 'One-Drop Rule' (the false and racist

teaching that 'any amount' of Black ancestral lineage

make a person "full black") is the equivalent of BOTH

embracing "racism" and embracing the false teaching

that a Mixed-Race person's Black lineage is "tainted".

My advice is that any non-Racist should *not* embrace

the concept of the 'One-Drop Rule' -- as "Black blood"

is *not* "tainted" -- and should never be perceived

or embraced as being so (not even in the

name of so-called "pride" and "unity").

In addition, legally-speaking, attempted forcible

application of the racist 'One-Drop Rule' -- against

any individual or group -- was made illegal and ruled

as unconstitutional by the United States Supreme Court

in 1967 via the case of 'Loving vs. The State of Virginia'.

Through the 'Loving vs. Virginia' case, the U.S.

Supreme Court, ruled against both all of the laws

banning Interracial marriage -- and -- also ruled

that any so-called law which forcibly applied the

'One Drop Rule' -- was racist, discriminatory,

illegal, unconstitutional, and non-enforcible.

In regards to the matter of being Mixed-Race via one's

generational-ancestry, the following may be of interest:

--- Dr. Luigi Caveli-Sforza, who is the Executive

Director of the Human Genome Project and the

world's foremost authority on human genetics

has both tested and proven that more that

70% of all of the African-Americans actually

have a full ancestral lineage which consists

of +20-30% White / European and more

than +25% Amerindian bloodlines.

--- That means that the 'average' (+70%) person

born to two (2) parents who are both members

of the AA Ethnic group actually has slightly

less than 50% Black / African blood lineage

found in his or her full-ancestral lineage.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

You can call it whatever you are comfortable with, although I would just call you "you"!

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

I call them a fellow human being!

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

you are a mulatto

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

Actually people who are half black and half white are actually called mulattoes. (Pronounced Mall-Law-Tow)

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

i just say black. although living with my mother who is filipino, i always just said black because thats what i mostly look like, i guess b/c my hair.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

I met a girl who looks black and his father looks black. She said she is white. Had not met her mother. I guess you are lucky that you can choose which one you like to be called if you have one of each.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

Depends on the person. But I can say this..if you are even a drop of black you usually lean somewhat toward the black..African American people have strong characteristics. Noses, hair textures and coloring in the skin..even the voice tones.Being mixed allows you that choice...But to me it s seems if you are even a partially black, people perceive you as black..I am half black..I do know what I am talking about. If Hallie Berry identified herself as solely Caucasian, imagine all the fuss that would cause.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

I interviewed a guy for a job and during the interview i ask what is your nationality and he said What the hell do you mean by that.Needless to say i was not getting into that crap. This did not answer your question but i wanted to tell you about it

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

I have two younger bi-racial sisters., mixed with Mexican and black. They both consider themselves to be black! In my experience the majority of mixed people I have encountered (that were mixed with black)consider themselves to be black.

There is a small number that considered themselves to be mixed, or other!

From what I have gathered, it really depends on your experience.

Halle Barry is mixed, but due to her racial experiences in high-school she told Ebony Magazine in 1993 that she considered herself to be a black woman. Kimora Lee Simmons has stated the same thing!

Don't believe the hype!

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

If that is your picture displayed, you could say you were any race you choose. Traditionally, if a person has "any" black blood in them, they are considered black. Right or wrong that was the way it was done.

When having babies, sometimes the genes will play tricks on the parents. For example, if you married a white man, your baby may be black or Asian or any other blood you have in you. By the same token, if you married a black guy, you could have an Asian baby or since the Irish is in the background perhaps a white child with red hair. The further we go down through generations, the more mixed up we all will be. I don't have a lot of answers for your question but just thought I would throw in some "learned" situations. Pops

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

The majority of people don't usually ask me, they just assume I'm black. I do, sometimes, get people who tell me that I don't look full black, then I'll say mixed. Other than that though, I always say I'm black.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

Mixed or bi-racial. But I really hate it when they ask that..what difference does it make?

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

Well I consider myself to be American because honestly if you see me you wouldnt be able to tell what race I am. But my paternal grandfather is hispanic, so in school they classify me as hispanic. My father is half white half hispanic and my mother is black.

People who are half black do you say you are black or mixed?

It's all about personal preference. There are those out there that can actually care less whether you know they're bi-racial or not and there's others who are just screaming to let the world know. I also believe it has to do with whatever group they identify with more, or whatever ethnic group they grew up around. I myself am bi-racial (Black and Puerto Rican) and I guess it's kind of easier for me because I can just identify myself as a Black Latina. I don't parade around town making it known that I'm mixed - I only mention it when people ask. And whenever says something ignorant to you such as "You don't look Black" or "You don't look _____" (fill that blank in with whatever ethnic group you want), then you need to realize how close minded they are. Not all blacks, latinos, asians, native americans, etc. look the same. As long as you know who you are, you don't have to prove yourself to anyone.

Can't decide what I should do with my hair. Any suggestions?

I have dark brown hair that is almost black. It is very very thick and I have a lot of it. I don't know what i should do with it. Last christmas, I dyed the bottom layer red. It's faded to a goldish/Orangish color. I am really tired of the color i have now. I was surfing the web and I found some really pretty reds (Cheryy Red, Ginger Red etc.). I would like to be a redhead, but I am afraid that it won't work because my hair is so dark. I am really up to anything at this point. I don't care if it's a natural red or a crazy purple. I don't care if it's chunked or tipped. I have medium length hair, dark brown eyes, and Olive (I think its Olive) skin. Please provide pictures. I am a visual type person. If it helps, My favorite colors would be red, green, and blue. Thank you for answering!

Can't decide what I should do with my hair. Any suggestions?

My sister once cut her hair to about mid-neck length and dyed it hot pink, and that to me was a really cool look because it was long enough that you could still put it up and do stuff with it but no so long its just to much. She had to dye her hair bleach blonde first and then put in this awesome brand of dye called ManicPanic. they have a bunch of other crazy colors too.

Can't decide what I should do with my hair. Any suggestions?

i like cheese

Can't decide what I should do with my hair. Any suggestions?

If you have olive skin you won't look good in red. Try black and add big chunks of a bold red, green, blue whatever you want. Make sure the black will be against your skin and not the other colors. A dark blue-black would look good too.

Can't decide what I should do with my hair. Any suggestions?

why not go to a local beauty salon and ask for ideas

Just got hair dyed to a blondish brown color?

Okay I went to my hair dresser yesterday and I wanted my hair highlighted. So she suggested a blondish color so I agreed.

So now my hair is like blondish light brown with blonde highlights.

But now I dont know how to care for this color hair. I've never had hair this color before or this light. Is there certain shampoo and conditioner that i should use. Also is it okay to wash my hair since I got it done yesterday? She bleached and toned my hair.

Also if it is important my hair used to be medium brown kind of like a darker brown, it wasnt black though.

Just got hair dyed to a blondish brown color?

well if you want to keep your highlights blonde you should use john frieda sheer blonde shampoo and conditioner %26amp;%26amp; yes you can wash your hair it will not harm it. just be careful when you go in a pool because the chlorine will turn the blonde green.

Just got hair dyed to a blondish brown color?

It is fine to wash your hair! If she just used a highlighting system you can use any shampoo you want. If she used color you need to you color treated shampoo so it will not fade as fast.

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

What is it about black guys that turns you on? Is it the hair, the way they talk, the stereotype, the thug mentality, do you all like black guys from different parts of Africa that have different accents, is it the color of their skin that drives you crazy, the rumors floating around that they have a big package, or is it the fact that you are told by your peers and parents that dating a black guy is bad and you want to find out if they are full of crap?

Note: I am not interested in getting answers like. "I don't like dating black guys." I don't care if you don't like dating black guys and I don't want to know why. Also keep your stupid racist comments to your self. This is all about having fun. This should be fun...so ladies go crazy and have fun.

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

Since I started dating I dated Black men , because I was Physically attracted to them as opposed to white / asian men .I find black mens skin physically attractive and their whole body mentality the works I have been with my black jamaican partner for 14 years now . He doesnt conform to a stereotype .Nor do any of my black or white friends. In terms of his big package I can only speak for him and the fact that I can fit two hands next to each other on it and have some left over speaks for itself.

My partner is a self made man running two successful companies . he is a fantastic father to our daughters and has never direspected me in ANY way . . he is good looking , fit and sexy .. he is fashionable rich and all in all perfect , Ok Ok Ive finished XXXXXXXX

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

White women like black guys because they have huge dick compared to white guys. Every one knows that silly goose

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

The lips!

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

See a black guy as any other guy if hes cool hes cool if not he's not. (I'm not white)

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

Honestly? I don't like "thug mentality" or anything like that, etc. The only thing that does appeal to me about black guys more than most white guys is... they have nicer butts. More shape, more substance in the caboose. I like that... :)

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

OK, We can ignore the second girl. Lol, but might as well ignore me, because I am not interested in black guys, and I never will. Sorry dude.

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

I'm not white...but im white enough, black guys ave more confidence i cant get enough black people...I LOVE THEM. my mama's black and i love looking at her...i dunno i love them, theire skin, their culture, just how the dress and act its soo..... omg hahaha, ive only ever had 2 bfs in my life and both of them were black....well 1/2 black and black but i realy sont understand how people can not like belack people.

If you dont have black blood in you then you dont know what your missing!

White Girls: What is it about a black guy that turns you on?

Hm...well, ive known several black guys who would "flirt" with me...so instead of telling you what i do like, ill tell you what i HATE.

-WAY to sexual, get too close when your not even dating.

-They would trash talk ALL THE TIME!!!!

-And would try to talk to me all the time and never leave me alone

Those are some pointers to AVOID doing.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

For me as a black lady I never understood why Asian people are always selling our hair extensions, hair products (like perm, thread %26amp; needles) and also our skin care products. I see a place called Ebony Hair Store and I walk in and I see a chinese or Japenese lady selling my hair. Or I walk in another hair place and I see a indian women selling black hair products. I mean I know these asian people have alot of businesses but can't black people sell their own hair! I don't get it, African Americans been in this country more than Asian people (they are foreigners) and we can't open up a business for ourselves like making a business for our hair or making a business called soul food instead of always eating chinese food? I seriously don't get it!

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Because we as black people are afraid of success. We are reluntant to place our business in the black community. We don't even support our own. We would ride clear across town to the posh side to purchase stuff we could have from the black businesses that are in the community.

Also in reference to your question, why don't we have African based restaurants in our own community. Although I brought this up I don't know if I'm even ready for goat's brain or foo-foo. You can always find a Chinese Restaurant in the 'hood. And it's always a buffet available. And let's not forget the NAIL shops. Yahoo did a news article on Chinese food, but I did not read it. Something about how unhealthy it is.

Another factor they are considered a minority and get more grants to open businesses.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Why won't you sell it then?!

Why does it matter what race of the person is who sells the hair?!

Why does everything have to be a race issue?!

Wow...my fellow black people....Find something more important to be concerned about.

Also to Spring F, when she said "black hair" she meant "black people's hair" LMAO..

This was the dumbest thing I've read today seriously. It made absolutely no sense.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

don know

sounds like a business plan to me, good luck

btw: your tone has a bit of racism in it. don put down your own race by saying stuff like this

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Some Asians have black hair, too. Also, I think black hair is the new fashion. It really is beautiful! Maybe I'll go put some on my Avatar...

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Ok this isnt 1960 people can sell what they want, if it bother you that much setup your own store. Does it matter who sells the products as long as people sell them. Its called competition its good for the market, it also makes the product cheaper.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Yeah um....you do have a point, but really I think it is because black people don't lead we just want people to do things for us..I am not saying all black people just some of them. So asians step up and do what is best which is sell things and do nails.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

ALWAYS??!!

I haven't noticed such a thing happening among MY Asian friends. The children must do it secretly... and I don't know when their parents find the time, since they are so busy running their restaurant... but maybe that would explain the occasional "hair in the soup." Another Asian friend is a waiter, maybe he moonlights as a Hair extension salesman.

Sheesh! What's wrong with the word "SOMETIMES"???

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

they supply what we demand-more fake hair-more fake skin care

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

If you have a problem with the race of the people who are operating businesses you patronize, there are really two problems, both yours. First one is that you are a racist, because it should not matter what kind of people are operating the business as long as they are honest. I am caucasion and have no problem whatsoever going to a black-owned, or asian owned, or arabic owned business if I can trust it. I am not threatened by other people's prosperity and hard work.

Your second problem is this: Instead of opening your own business, you are whining on and on and on and on about other people's business. To be honest, considering the kind of hellhole neighborhoods I see most of these asian businesses in, if the asian PEOPLE were not operating there, there would not be any businesses in there at all. Nobody else is brave or crazy enough to risk all the armed robbery, the vandalism, the theft and other wonderful things which go on in those places. You need to find better things to expend your energy and concern on.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

You need to get out more. People of any race participate in the commerce arena because it is a way of making money. I really don't have an issue with many hair supply stores being owned by Asian-Americans. They found a market and jumped on it. (BTW, they sell products that can be purchased by people of any race and they are not just in Black neighborhoods.)

As for African-American businesses, I don't know where you live, but there are PLENTY in my city. From car dealers to restaurants to construction businesses. My HB has his own business on the side, as do I. I can't even tell you how many of my church members own businesses. Maybe you need to travel in different circles so you can see how many African American entrepreneurs are really out here!

Oh, and it's a myth that new immigrants, specifically Asians, get loans before African Americans. The reality is that many Asian communities have set up internal lending practicies. So, when a new family comes over, they go to the local community and get start-up loans. Hmmm, sounds like a good idea to me.

I love my Black people, but I'm tired of hearing these lies. We have enough to deal with, without these types of stories that keep us feeling defeated. Like I said, look around, there are many sucessful Black people. We need to get the word out and continue to uplift from within.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

To be a successful small business you must have business knowledge, set up money, determination and drive and excellent credit. Sorry to say more than half black people does not fit those qualifications. We can't acquire the loans and more than some are bad at business matters.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

wow your a racist ...A lot of people Love Chinese Food I do !!

and every black person doesn't cook soul food the same way you should know that and when you grow up eating chicken tasting a certain way you expect it to taste a certain way..and most of the soul food places have horrible food i 've been to enough to know that ...and about the hair thing if you didn't know Your weave that you were the human comes from Asian women's hair because there hair grows fast and long...DUH that's why if you watch comic view ...all the black comedians are always joking about when you put a track in wrong and it start lifting you see made in Taiwan...lol and if you didn't know Taiwan is an asian country

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

black hair.. white hair..

all Made in China.

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Go to YOU TUBE and BOBSA website. The black hair industry is worth billions of dollars and the Asian saw a opportunity in the market because they could not break the white market (because white hair companies wouldn't allow it). they went to the BIGGEST HAIR CARE CONSUMERS, black people. Instead of protecting our black hair industry, our black people open our arms to the Asians and the Asians came in and took over. Yes, it does matter who is selling our products because they do not respect us and they take the profits out of the communities that the are selling to without giving anything back. How many times do you see black hair assistants employed at these Asian hair shops? Hardly ever!! The Asians do not even give jobs to the people they sell to.

The Asians now have a monopoly on the industry by take over manufacture and distribution, therefore not allowing other non-Asian stores to compete on a equal footing. Therefore when a black store owner tries to set-up their business they are given a higher price to buy the products from the (Asian owned) distrubutor and therefore the products need to be sold at a higher price in order to make a profit. So when you, the consumer, goes into the store you find the products more expensive they do not buy the products and the black owned store has to close down because you do not buy the products from them and go to the cheaper Asian stores!

How is this monopoly right? If this industry effect the majority community in the USA and UK there would be a government intervention to stop it and to bring fairness back into the industry.

Only by us uniting can we hope to change this. If you or anyone want to help they should boycott these shops, as I do.

It is not racist to support our black owned business, Asians have been doing it for centuries!

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

ooPs! sorry, had a thought %26amp; clicked to answer "why"??;....

then I, real-o-Lized that ... "what"...I could answer ..and that would be...."

" what I COULD BE doing .....and WHEN...not WHY ? ? ?

Why are Asian people always selling black people's hair?

Asian business people will sell anything that the mainstream society wants. It's all about money. When I go to the flea market, the Korean guy there sells "gang" t-shirts with calligraphy letters and rap music because of the demographics in the area. In san francisco the chinese business people will sell gay products to the gay men there. Doesn't mean they are gay.. it's just who the target audience is. It's not about what they like or what their preference is... it is whatever makes money due to the population.

Also, you should not generalize. Not all asian people are "foreigners" like you stated. I am asian and I was born here in the USA and lived here for 33 years. I even served in the Gulf War.

What are some indian hair care tips?

please i have an indian friend who wants to know this she use to have long silky black hair after that she dyed it perm it and used chemical products she now uses cocunut oil but she claims its no help

What are some indian hair care tips?

cocunut oil ahs to be warmed and applied to her hair tell her to use almond oil then. eggs are good but she need to get in the habit of using natural henna or shikakai products

What are some indian hair care tips?

Honestly, the best product that I have ever used is called Kerastase by Loreal. Its a salon product and what your friend will need is the Orange tub called Masqueintense. Its amazing, just amazing. After a week of using it she should feel a change in her hair.

What are some indian hair care tips?

sounds like she needs to go to the salon for some deep conditioning treatments. The chemicals are strong and have caused a bit of damage. a few of those should help the situation.

What are some indian hair care tips?

Eggs, how long does she keep the coconut oil in her hair usually supposed to be on over night and when applying it has to be nice and hot, if all else fails then have her shave her head and start over.

What are some indian hair care tips?

After chemically processing her hair she needs protien treatments. She needs to rebuild the hair from the inside out. Redken provides MANY solutions to distressed hair! Cat is one to start. Nioxin for chemically treated hair works WONDERS!!!

Oils are topical solutions that provide temporary relief.

You DO NOT have to shave the head!!!

What are some indian hair care tips?

I've done the same damage to my hair. The only thing that worked for me was not using any hair products for a while other than VO5 split-end Treatment shampoo and conditioner, and cutting off the damaged hair as it grew out.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

Hi, my hair color is orginally black I dyed it honey blonde over a year ago and did not keep up on my coloring. I dyed it back to a blacker black sometime in the middle of November. I didn't care for it too much, it nice but I just think the honey blonde will go better with my skin tone. I'm mixed and have been called a light bright...lol..hope that gives you a visual of my skin tone I also have hazel eyes. Have a waited a long enough period to dye my hair again, and is it ok for me to dye it myself from a box??? Or should i pay to have it done since its so dark..Thanks

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

I would have it done at a salon. Going from very dark to light can be tricky, and it definitely will damage your hair. A professional will do it right.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

if you go back and forth between blonde and black things get challenging. wait at least a month before redying.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

I would pay to have it done. Since you went so dark and you want to go light now it will be hard to do yourself. A box dye may ruin your hair if you do it wrong. Call your hair stylist and make an appt.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

i've called a hotline for this once....

wait at least a week before re-dying the hair.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

MUSTRASD OH%26lt; *%#@!%26amp;$

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

i think that you have to wait at least 3 months... and if you go to a pro then theyd be able to tell you exactly what you need to do. my uncle is a hair stylist but i have no clue what to do.... lol

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

it is long enough do it yourself but condition well after

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

it is ok for you to dye your hair again from a box.... you have waited long enough .. i recommend don't dye your hair more than once a month.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

my hair dresser told me 6 weeks

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

do it in 2-3 weeks and since its black do it at the salon my mom has black hair and she cant get it out

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

yeh that should be fine to do it again.... then just start doing your regrowth every couple of months...strip the colour first put a reddish tone for the blonde to grab onto. i suggest getting a blonding powder as it comes out more toned...

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

I'd suggest you have it done professionally by someone who knows about color. My hair dresser says to wait two weeks before adding other chemicals, but your hair type may be different. Better safe than sorry - see a professional.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

i think you should pay to have it done and get honey blonde with like a bit of brown too. it will look amazing. my friend got it done and it looked really awesome! hope this helped

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

I know it楹搒 tempting to do it yourself,,,and I do it too,,,BUT ,,this time I would get professional help,,,safer and you楹搇l have someone to complain to if it does not turn out right.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

You _can_ do it, but your hair is going to fry (think dry, frizzy, and breaking.) Remember that your hair is already dead cells, and the damage you do to it is never undone, unless you cut the damaged parts off.

If your hair is short, you can probably get away with it, but if your hair is longer (and you want to keep it that way) I'd let it grow out more.

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

Call a really upscale shop...ask if you can come by and just get an "opinion" they will say sure! Tell them."My name is Lisa..(or whatever..) is there a good time..?

This will ALWAYS get you at least 3 good answers to your question! Don't risk really messing up your hair..the texture will take forever to recover! good luck 閳?br>How long after can I re-dye my hair?

I would buy color stripper from aa professional store, take it slow when going from dark to light to avoid damage. Also buy a real deep intensive conditioner treatment. Use after shampooing, comb thru put a plastic bag on your head and use the heat from your blow dryer to help the conditioner penetrate, rinse with warm water then use cool. it seals the cuticle, good luck

PS color kits at stores like Sally beauty supply are inexpensive and MUCH better than store bought

Good Luck

How long after can I re-dye my hair?

The only limit I know of for hair dying is twenty four hours, it may take a lot of dye to go over black hair but the only difference between doing your own hair or having it done in a salon is the price, do it yourself and be sure you re-color.

i think this question is best answered by a cosmotologist

Beauty tips please ladies!?

I'm a 15 year old girl and I have an oily T-zone. Do you have any good homemade facial tips for me?

How about homemade hair care tips? My hair is thick, black, and kinda prone to dandruff.

What are some good tips for applying makeup? I wear mainly eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss.

Please answer all these questions!

Thanks in advance.

Beauty tips please ladies!?

Yogurt is really good for your skin, aside from using an age appropriate night and/or day cream. If your t-zone is really oily and the rest of your face is on the dry side, instead of using a cream for combination skin I would recommend using a light gel based 'cream' for the t-zone and a separate cream for the rest of your face. Yes, it's a bit of a hassle, but it's well worth it.

Tips for your hair? A weekly hair 'mask' with olive oil (try not to come too near the roots). Eggs are also very good for your hair, it gives it a nice healthy shine. Beer is also good for your hair, but seeing as you're underage - not a very good idea ;)

And seeing as you're 'only' 15, don't mess around with make-up too much. Even though you may want to look slightly older, and wearing make-up helps doing so - this is usually not the case and wearing too heavy make-up on a young age often makes you look younger (trying too hard!). Plus of course it will damage your skin, too. Go natural or semi-natural for as long as you can! Lip-smackers power! ;)

Beauty tips please ladies!?

Just wash your face two times a day. Try using Proactive.

For Hair i use herbal essences and i love it!

For makeup try foundation anf bronsers. Keep eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss.

Beauty tips please ladies!?

plain yogurt to apply to your t zone and leave on for ten min. then wash or stand over a boiling pot with a towl on the back of your head and let the steam penetrate your skin and then splash lots of cold water on your face afterward.

use head and shoulders all the time, not just when you have dandruff and try frizz ease for thick hair it keeps it smooth.

apply liner to the bottom of your eye and half of the top of the lid, curl your eyelashes first and then apply mascara so the lashes are curlier and for lips get a gloss that has a slight color so your lips pop more

good luck hope this helps :)

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

I'm going to be a bridesmaid for my friends wedding in march. I'm not sure how to wear my hair, she doesn't care if it's up or down. I have very, VERY, thick long wavey hair. I think I'd prefer down, usually if I wear it up it won't last long. The dress is floor length and black. Any suggestions?

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

If the bride doesnt care then I would wear something comfy if I were you! I also have Long Thick hair. Does your hair hold a curl? (Mine wont for anything) if it does then I would sugjest maby a half up half down and curl all of it! It's easy and elagent!

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

If the Bride hasn't requested or doesn't care -- go with what's easy and comfortable.

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

The hairstyle you choose should be decided based on the NECKLINE of the dress and whether or not you have a long or short neck yourself. Those who have a short neck usually look better with updos or half up/half down hairstyles because it elongates the neck. When you wear your hair down, the neckline gets lost on a short neck person. Hair down looks better on long neck women. You should go to a hairstylist with your dress %26amp; ask him or her to suggest a style for the dress %26amp; that will compliment your neck%26amp; face. Have your hair professionally done %26amp; I promise you, it won't fall down! They know what they are doing!

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

my girls asked me the same question and i said that i don't care, as long as they don't wear it the same way i have mine

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

I'd say down, but pulled back from your face and off your ears.

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

Half up half down would work well.

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

Bring in a picture of the gown and let the stylist suggest how to wear it.

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

What type of neckline does the dress have? I believe if the neckline is dramatic (i.e. mandarin collar, sweetheart, off the shoulder) you should wear it up. Even if it's strapless, you could wear your hair up or down.

I'm a Bridesmaid. How should I wear my hair?

A good hairstylist will know. IF they ask what you want then leave. I am a bride (August 08) and have been going back and forth about my own hair. I went to a bridal show last weekend and they had two different salons there doing hair. I went to Mitchell's first and had my hair done. It was horrible. Then went to the other place and asked if they would redo my hair. The hair designer had two assistants undo what had been done. Then he sat down and asked what I pictured for my day and then gave me his thoughts. Asked what kind of dress I had (strapless, straps) and told me he would like to do something else. What he did was amazing and I will nowbe going to him for my wedding. My hair was beautiful and was perfect. He explained your facial structure depends on how your hair will look. Which is so true. He did a wonderful job. So all I can say is a good hair designer will know what to do with your hair!

I would like to know how does a black texturizer works?

I'm a black girl with short hair (It's about ear lenght) who's tired of having a perm. My perm almost grown out and I wanted to try a texturizer. My seemed to have stop growing since I started putting it 10 years ago. Since then, each time it grows, it breaks (I use to have shoulder lenght hair). So frustrating!!! So now I'm interested in changing hairstyle. Can somebody tell me how it works and how we go about the care of it? Thanx.

I would like to know how does a black texturizer works?

A texturizer is a weaker version of a relaxer. You'll still be chemically altering your hair and leaving it at risk to be damaged.

Texturizers are best suited for short hairstyles, so if you're trying to grow it out, it's not a good idea, or it will end up long and stringy looking.

Also dont ever ever ever apply a texturizer to hair that has perm/relaxer on it. If you're going to do a texturizer completely cutt off the permed/relaxed hair and apply it to your new growth/virgin hair only.

I feel you on how damaging a relaxer or texturizer can be.. When I had a relaxer it would grow/break/grow/break/grow/break in a never ending cycle and it would have me mad as hell to always have my hair the same length year after year. Once I cut it all off I embraced my natural hair and grew it out for a few years in an afro. Perhaps pressing will work better for you if you don't want to work with your natural/nappy texture. (I love the napps)

have you considered going natural. It's a big step, but definately manageable with a transition period. .. check out the source links for some options

I would like to know how does a black texturizer works?

There are many things that "texturiser" can describe and even more so from country to country. So, when you say "texturiser" what exactly is it that you want? A certain cut or a product?

But, with your hair breaking and such, (without having seen your hair) it sounds to me that your hair is damaged and, possibly, quite dry. Correct? I suggest that you have regular trims every 5 to 6 weeks in order to grow your perm out before any kind of texturising can take place.

Ensure that you are using good conditioning treatments that will add moisture to your hair.

Also, you've mentioned that you used to have shoulder length hair in such a way that suggests to me that it was once easy for you to grow your hair. Have you been looking after your diet or are you on a medication that can affect your hair?

I would like to know how does a black texturizer works?

girl listen 2 a blck sista on dis 1 the texturizer is pretty much a relaxer but does less damage to ur hair and keeps it normal but under control if u go natural and let ur hair grow out accoding to the new growth and if u have 2 in oh new growth then cut 2 in off at tha end of the month it grows easier expecially if u dont put 2 much heat or 2 many chemicals it is best 2 go natural and have braids cuz it lets ur hair go pack 2 the original state and managable trust itll look cute

I would like to know how does a black texturizer works?

A texturizer, relaxes the natural texture of your hair. So for most african americans they have a tightly coiled curlly texture. A textureizer helps relax the curls and make them more manageable. But a texturizer is essentially a relaxer/perm , your just shortening the processing time. A texturizer usually is left in for a few minutes compared to the 15-20 min. for a relaxer. If you leave a texturizer in long enough it will straighten your hair as well.

Since your already growing out your hair you may want to try just going natural. I went natural for 4 years, and it was the best thing I could do for my hair. Now, my hair is healthy, thicker, and that makees it easier to grow.

There is a group called Mahogany Beauty, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/mah... The group site has a photo gallery featuring natural and relaxed styles. Since your hair is so short a some good style for you would be comb twist, double strand twist, or instead of a texturizer try a short cut that works with your natural texture, chemical free.

What is a good product for dreads? My dreads do not seem to want to lock after my new growth comes ou

I use Natural Hair Care-Organic Root Stimulator Lock and Twist Gel.It leaves my hair dull looking, and my hair is black, but the Gel is whitish/clear.I need help!!!!!!!

What is a good product for dreads? My dreads do not seem to want to lock after my new growth comes out .?

1. stay away from wax. it actually hinders the dreading process.

2. make sure you wash your hair when you feel like you need to wash it, for the oils from your scalp can keep your new growth/roots from locking.

3. i highly recommend Dr. Bronners soap for washing dreads. it doesn't leave a residue and it keeps my dreads looking nice.

What is a good product for dreads? My dreads do not seem to want to lock after my new growth comes out .?

your welcome for the source :) the people there are amazing, and if you ever have any questions relating to dreads i'm sure someone there would be willing to help :) Report It

What is a good product for dreads? My dreads do not seem to want to lock after my new growth comes out .?

I use products from dreadheadhq.com and they work MIRACLES. Get some Dread Soap, some Wax and some locking accelerator... also, if you spend about 45 minutes a week rubbing the new growth in counter-clockwise circles it'll help it to lock up as it grows.

Good luck!

I cut my arm hair when I was in grade 6, it never really grew back?

I was a bit strange in grade 6 I am not going to lie (In grade 11 now) and for some reason I cut my arm hair off with sciccors, like I didn't shave I just trimmed the hair off. Still today my arm hair is really short (Like a centimeter long, shorter than most girls though it is black). I dont really care about it, I am just wondering why it never grew back? I am perfectly healthy and I dont really see a reason why.

I cut my arm hair when I was in grade 6, it never really grew back?

Cutting hair makes no difference to the way new hair grows. The growing occurs under the skin. The hair above the skin has no blood supply, no nerves, and has no way of signalling to the hair follicle that it has been cut.

All the old stories you hear about shaving/cutting hair and hair growth are just that - old stories; they have no basis in science.

So the length of hair you have now is what nature intended you to have.

I cut my arm hair when I was in grade 6, it never really grew back?

thats fine..its weird too..once i waxed my arm and the hairs barely grew back lol

I cut my arm hair when I was in grade 6, it never really grew back?

thats what u get for saying all that mean stuff about fat people......

I cut my arm hair when I was in grade 6, it never really grew back?

You know...i've had the same thing happen to me before. I caught my hand on fire and burned all the hair off my hand and fingers. This was about 6 months ago and it's never grown back at all...it's really odd as my other hand has hair...

Black mascara and eyeliner running down her pale pink cheeks

Along with the tears of misery puring down like a stream

Red lipstick smeared across her thick lips

The same color as the blood running down her wrists

lieing on the cold linoleum floor

her dark hair across her face she has been here before

Her brown eyes filled with a pained __expression so far from dry

she knows she has to leave here this is her last cry

falls down to the floor as her favorite band pumping through the speakers plays the last note

closes her eyes her brain turns off

Why because she looked so elegant in that black dress

with her pretty little face and dark makeup her black hair a mess

shes in love with the man who she is with but she is fed up of being poor and feeling isolated

she has dreamed of a far better life for herself in the past and eventually reality has finally hit her hard and she now tells herself that there is know hope of a much better life for her and her man and the music that she is listening to would normally lift her spirits up but instead it brings her down even more and she drinks a bottle of rat poison and some alchol falls to the kitchen floor and lays there not making a sound but has tears flowing down her face eventually she lays there dead 3 hours later her boy friend come home from working in a dead end job that only pays the minimum wage he is feeling hungry as he walks into the kitchen and is stunned to see his woman lying on the floor he bends down moves the hair away from her angelic face and just stares for a while then the realisation that she is dead sinks in and the tears start to flow and as this is happening he lifts her head gently closer to his lips and kisses her with all his passion and undying love that he had for this love of his life...........the end!

If you like sad poetry read this please?!! lol. i idnt write it.?(last time i 4got to paste the poetry lol.?

To be perfectly honest, I don't care for it all that much. It doesn't really ring true to me. For one thing, I don't think suicides are usually scared. Angry, hurt, frustrated, stressed, alone, all that, but not necessarily scared. Eyeliner doesn't run. Then, from a physical standpoint, how is she drinking poison after she's already bleeding and collapsed on the floor? Also, I think like the rhyming sometimes feels forced, such that's it's more of a hinderance than a help. The author seems too interested in getting the rhyme and not interested enough in getting the feeling of the poem. 'Last cry' is too clich茅. The whole 'band' thing was only included to have something to rhyme with 'throat.' Why does her boyfriend scoff? Scoff? That doesn't seem like the right response, and it's certainly not in line with him crying. 'Taste her beauty and grace?' When she's lying there with her wrists cut? What about guilt, pain, remorse? And 'ruby lips' is also a bit too clich茅. Okay, I'm done with the criticism now. After all, while I don't like it as an overall piece, the work is not entirely without merit. Certain phrases work quite well, in fact. The 'cut open by stress' part, for instance, certainly rings true. I understand that and agree with it. The 'gashing crevis' is a also well done - it's an impactful metaphor. Comparing the color of the lipstick and the blood is a nice move as well. 'Pretty little face and dark makeup her black hair a mess' gives good imagery. In fact, those two lines together probably give the best mental images in the poem. The person who wrote this should try writing some stuff without using rhyme. See if they can get the feeling and the wording and the sytax down right, and then move towards making it work within a specific form.

Makes me want to cry because even though she felt she had nothing she had all she needed. The love of somebody can hold a person through some bad times. But she couldn't see that. She didn't see what was right in front of her. Some times people miss the little things in life and think that death is all that is left for them. When in all actuality there is somebody that will miss you so much that they will feel that without you there is only death. So the cycle of death continues.

my prayer for my husband and children - Apr. 17, 2005 at 11:46 PM

i hold u in my arms

i breathe your every breath

i take away your pain

until there is nothing left

if i take it all away

will u just be a shell

for is that all that is u

just a lifetime of hell

i pray each day and night

i can protect u from life

but i know that i can't

u have to take it in strife

i feel all your pain

i cry all your tears

but so many tears to fall

in all the many years

i can't hide u from the world

so i'll stand by your side

and keep your faith in God

through him i'll be your guide

so love all u can

and thank God every day

for I will always love u

and for your faith i pray

If you likecheesy depressing poetry will you please read this and tell me what you think? (i didnt write it)?

ITS IS A VERY DEEP POEM...FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN THERE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER THEY CAN RELATE...FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT IT MAY SOUND HORRID AND SICK...I THINK IT HAS DEPTH AND SOUL FULL OF SADNESS...

If you likecheesy depressing poetry will you please read this and tell me what you think? (i didnt write it)?

why do you keep asking the same question?

If you likecheesy depressing poetry will you please read this and tell me what you think? (i didnt write it)?

As you say, it's not very good poetry. The forced rhymes, the spelling, the lack of any poetic structure.... the inconsistency (presumably her boyfriend would not be tasting 'beauty and grace' but rather the 'toxic stuff' she had just imbibed!) and the grotesque images...

However..... I'd be less concerned about the quality of the poem and more concerned about whoever wrote it. To me this sort of self-expression looks like a cry for help - or at least a preoccupation with pain and death that should be a warning signal to friends and family. The feeling that 'everyone could care less' (sic) is probably one of the most depressing and enervating (energy-sucking) emotions on the planet. I hope no one you know feels this way!

Thanks for posting and asking. Perhaps you are in a position to get some one some help, or at least a listening ear.

If you likecheesy depressing poetry will you please read this and tell me what you think? (i didnt write it)?

Very depressing- I feel for the sad woman. Despite the spelling errors, it has a very nice flow.

Do you guys think this poem is really crappy i didnt write it so say whatever you want?

its alright but i dont like depressing poems. that makes me want to go and slit my wrists. oh, by the way, you cant die from sliting your wrists - there are a lot of little blood vessels but not enough to actualy bleed to death before the blood clots. if you want to die, cut above your elbow in a straight line to bleed to death, theres an artery there, fit that in the poem and it will sound better.

Do you guys think this poem is really crappy i didnt write it so say whatever you want?

That's really sad. It's a good poem, the tone of it is just sad and shows how depressed the girl is. You can feel how much pain she's in.

Do you guys think this poem is really crappy i didnt write it so say whatever you want?

'tis alright. kind of really emo and depressing.

mmm...i don't like the way she tried to squish in all the words....it throws the rhythm off. she could have done WAAY better with a free verse poem. rhyming is slightly overrated and usually makes a poem sound cheesy. rhyming is usually so badly done, it makes me cringe. people shouldn't rhyme without the rhythm.

other than that, purrty good.
