Black girl stereotype?

I hate the way black people are stereotype.Alot of the time I hear that black and white guys dont like to date us because they think we are either ugly or have a bad attitude. It makes me really mad because I'm not like that at all.I am actually alot nicer than most of the white girls in my school. It sometimes seems like we are that way because the black girls with attitudes stand out more. But there are alot of black girls that aren't like that and I hate that people think of us like that because were not. Some are but not all of us.Some white girls have bad attitudes to.There just less noticable. And were not ugly either.Yeah sometimes are hair can get a little messed up but its hard to take care of our hair. When a white girl washes her hair and brushes it it takes about 15 mintues. When I wash my hair I have to do so much more to make it look nice that it takes me 2 hours to finish.I really wish people wouldn't think of us that way because it really hurts. Its make me feel less important.

Black girl stereotype?

you are sooo right girl.. im soo sick and tired of bein sterotyped and people assuming how i am before they acculey get to know me.. and that is wrong. Im skinny and black girls are always sayin how skinny i am for a black girl and how i would look so much better with more weight even my ex bf.. sadly to say. And im happy with my weight and im not gonna change for no one. ANd i find that the white people are more accpetence of me and my weight and are like i wish i was your size or whatever.. and for the white guys.. they do tend to think i like rap music and stuff and expect me to me all loud when im not. Im shy at times.. and im very friendly too. I dont have an attitude.. and i like all types of music not just RAP. And its true with our hair it takes loads of work to fix. Straightin the curls.. then put all these products to maintain our hair.. omg takes a day for me to do mine.. when i wash it.. during the week at least an hour. I wouldnt let all this get to you though.. because if they really did like YOU then they would want to get to know YOU and resepect how YOU are as a black women. ANd im talking about your friends, and family.. not how society views us. And really dont worry about how society think.. because thats a bunch of crap.. just like society expects us all to weigh like size 1 (well mainly white women and if your black to have a big butt or whatever or shake our selves in videos) its our choice if we want to let what society thinks influence our lives and have an effect on our personal well being. ANd the world would be way better if we all think for ourselves and use our own best judgment.. and not try to please people or live up to the standards that society sets for us.. and im speaking a black women here. Society expects black people to live up to this ghetto black girl or on welfair with three kids.. just because thats how the media portrays us.. but we dont have too.. we can be our own person and let influential people influence us like oparah winfrey and other black women who our an ifluence to black women.. And never ever let someone tell you that your not capable of doing anything just because they dont think you dont have the ability because your black to succeed.. always goo further then what they expect.. .always try to excell in everything that you doo.. and by that your NOT being a statictic your being an induvidual who is not setting themselves for less just because society says we have too.

srry what i said is sooo long but your topic was such a good one it just really got me going. anyways hope i helped.

Black girl stereotype?

Remember you're a person, before you are a black person. Report It

Black girl stereotype?

What you just typed was a statement, not a question, but I agree with you 100%.

Hold you head high. If you walk like a confident person, you'll attract tons of guys. Don't let a stereotype get to you. Not all people think that way.

Black girl stereotype?

i dont see race.(just like Stephen Colbert)

P.S. there is no question

Black girl stereotype?

There are always going to be people that say the wrong thing. Learn to ignore it. NOBODY can make you feel less important unless you yourself feel unimportant. Remember that. Take pride in yourself and what you are about.

By the way, you were being stereotypical when talking about a "white girl's" hair. Everyone is different and can have problem with hair no matter what the race.

Black girl stereotype?

Please keep in mind this is just personal opinion. I think there are some really beautiful black girls out there, stunning in fact, but I personally find most black girls to be less attractive on average. I also find most asian girls to be more attractive on average. White girls are right in the middle. mostly though, i think it comes down to personal preference. If I found a pretty faced black girl with a sweet personaltiy, and round butt and full chest, I would definitely consider that situation. lol

Black girl stereotype?

I don't think of you that way every woman no matter of race or physical appearance has her own beauty that shines thru.

Black girl stereotype?

I don't appreciate those black stereotypes either. I happen to know black girls that are very beautiful and very nice. And I like black people's hair! I know a black girl at my school and she has hair down to the middle of her back. I love to see what style she's gonna rock everyday. If I hadthat girls hair I'd wear a fro cuz she looks so damn beautiful with one. You also have to realize this too though. Everybody deals with stereotypes. I heard that black people think white girls dont get as wet as black girls. And the whole thing about black guys being bigger...come on! I would know, and it is NOT true in all cases. All races are going to be stereotyped...whites, blacks, hispanics, asians, arabics....there's no escaping it. We just have to blow off the criticism and acknowledge that we know the truth. Those assholes will get over themselves eventually. And if not, it's not our problem.

Black girl stereotype?

Unfortunately, a lot of black girls do follow the "hood rat" stereotype. Mainly, African-American youth is heavily influenced by our culture (yes, I am black), and much of it is to act "*********", or "hood". And so they incorporate it into their lifestyle, thus making them who they are. You shouldn't let stereotypes get you down.\

I'm half black, half white. Many times, people ask me "which one I am like more". I think not of stereotypes or any of that, I simply respond "I am more like myself". Take a look at my choice in music, for example. I like FEW hardcore rappers, such as Juelz Santana and Cam'ron. I LOVE hip-hop, from Jay-Z to the Black-Eyed Peas. But I also like rock music, and listen to bands like Evanescence and Panic! At The Disco. People tell me that I'm simply just a white boy (because I appear black on the outside but I like rock music and watch Japanese anime). I don't pay those kind of people any mind anymore, as I am satisfied with who I am. You should be too. Don't let what other people say and think have a negative effect on you. Embrace who you are and let it shine.

Black girl stereotype?

You are a beautiful, insightful, wonderful person just the way you are. Don't change a thing.

Black girl stereotype?

I agree that not all black people are bad . As a black woman I have to admit that some of the things our race does and how they act is just down right sad . I know for a fact that I am not anything like that . As a race of people we have been downsized since father time and now I feel that it is time to put an end to this .

Please don't feel like you are less important because you are very important . Don't worry about what other people say or do as I have gotten so over it . Let me just add as well that there are some very nice white people too who actually do like us blacks .

Black girl stereotype?

The thing is that there have always been negative stereotypes about Black people. Almost like people think Blacks are like the caricatures they see.

So - there's the stereotype of the big ,loud, rude Black woman, and when people see Black women who fit this description, it just reinforces the stereotype, even though there are just as many big, loud, rude White women.

I don't know how the stereotype that Black women are supposedly unattractive came into being.

My best guess is that this stereotype came about during the slave times when 'miscegenation' was considered an abomination and people wanted to discourage White men from mating with Black women.

It's a stereotype, but it is certainly not the case. Anyone with eyes can see that Black women are beautiful. I think Black women tend to maintain themselves more - always have their hair done, and dressed nice.

Black girl stereotype?

Oh God.... I had no idea that so many black girls felt like this until I came on this site..... my niece is in high school and she has guys of all races falling all over themselves trying to get with her, but she is really girly and flirts alot the guys seem to eat that stuff up... I am not saying that is what you should do, because that might not be you , but the hs guys that she knows seem to love it

Black girl stereotype?

what's your question, shanaynay?

Black girl stereotype?

A black girl owes me money and won't pay me.
