OK first thing I told my clients is to get scalp massages once every two weeks and a oil-free deep conditioner done once a week. The massages help stimulate the scalp and removes excess skin that can build up around the root from too much oil and gel products, which can prevent healthy regrowth and cause breakage and hair loss. Get ends trimmed once a month to keep it healthy. In the mean to keep hair manageable, wash hair use good wash out conditioner and use Velcro rollers and let dry to keep it smooth and tame. Instead of gel or spray to control fly away ends, try a small amount (about a dime size) leave in conditioner and apply to the ends of hair only.

Do you mean black people's hair or black hair color? if you have african american hair , I would recommend to wash your hair often and no to apply a bunch of different hair products at he same time, try products that fit your type of hair, ( dry, oily, normal, ect), try different brands until you find the one that does the trick for you, in my case I am not african american but my hair is kinky, and that is what I do, and for hair fallin out if you are into home made remedies, boil some coffe (regular coffe and without sugar o fcourse) the strong the better and apply it all over your hair and scalp for about 20 to 30 minutes and then shampoo it, you can do this even if you don't have african american hair, good luck.
