Changing relaxers: black hair care?

Is it a good idea to change relaxers. I used to use a kids relaxer and recently I used Motions which made my hair straighter. But Ive heard that Dark and Lovely is the best. Is this true? Will my hair become damaged if I frequently change relaxers or is this a good thing (I heard somewhere that Oprah said it was a good thing...) thanks

Yes you can change relaxers. Dark and Lovely relaxers did not do a good job for me. I loved how Revlon Realistic and Dr. Miracles works for my hair type and hair needs. I prefer Dr. Miracles or Revlon Realistic.

Revlon Realistic relaxer made my hair soft gave it plenty of body

plenty of shine, and my hair stayed straight for a while.

Dr. Miracles did great things to my hair. It help promote hair growth. It also gave my hair body, shine , and my hair stayed straight for a good while. I love both products.

All SoftSheen Carson product are GREAT!!! That's what I use on my hair (Optimum Care)!!! Dark and Lovely is wonderful (made by SoftSheen Carson...stationed here in Chicago)...it gets your hair straight, while allowing u to have volume and body (wind in the hair activity). I love it..but don't just use the perm, buy the whole system...perm...shampoo and conditioner

i agree with the poster that said everyone's hair is different. personally, i don't like dark and lovely. it didn't get my hair very straight and them relaxer smell lasted in my hair forever. I use the Profectiv hair care system. I love it!
