Black hair care question?

What are the most effective products to use for hair growth?

Black hair care question?

I'm assuming you mean black people's hair. If that's the case, again there is no sure way to MAKE hair grow faster. Just know that your hair is ALWAYS growing. Hair does go thru a short stage of REST (usually less than 2 weeks about 4x's a year) where it's not actively growing but everyone hair grows. You can tho hurt the hair follicles so that it goes through more rest than not. This happens if you damage your hair seriously thru chemical abuse, not conditioning, etc. These things also cause a lot of breakage so growth isn't seen.

So now that we have that down, what is effective. Someone already said Tea Tree Moisturizer. I think she may be talking about Shea Butter and Tea Tree Moisturizer from Africa Organics. Shea Butter really smoothes out the cuticle (the layers or shaft of the hair), which prevents breakage. Tea Tree oil does a similar job. It's truly the breakage that makes the hair appear not to be growing (see above education on how that works). Keeping your hair HIGHLY moisturized is another key.

Profectiv has a whole line of products that adds strength and moisture to the hair. I do recomment the Breakfree leave in strengthener. It immediately makes hair lie down but it really does after several uses keeps the hair from breaking off and then you can see the growth better. A good conditioner is important. Deep conditioning about 2-3 weeks is helpful (dependeing on how dry your hair is). Hot Oil conditioners or regular Olive Oil (Extra Virgin preferrably) that you get at the grocery store works just fine.

You should also look at alternatives to products. Loads of water brings your body the need moisture, getting your vitamins etc. vit C, Biotin, Folic Acid and Magnesium. Green Tea is supposed to help, but I have't used this yet and going to your local health food store and getting hair vitamins, fish oil tablets is helpful. The needed vitamins and plenty of water as well as good care to the hair will make a BIG difference.

oil your scalp and hair 3 times weekly and keep for an hour.Wrap a warm moist towel around hair.Wash using besan flour. That should do away most hair problems.

Black hair care question?

actually oiling your hair can be bad for some types of hair so i suggest just keeping it healthy by washing it and conditioning it and also comb it out once and awhile so it doesnt get all ratty.but there arent any products that can help it grow.just take care of your hair.
